Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Last updated: November 2026
This disclaimer is presented for your country and is governed, to the extent applicable, by the laws in force there. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. No Medical Advice
JudeMed.AI ("Jude", "the Service") is an artificial-intelligence information tool. Jude is not a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or any kind of licensed healthcare professional, and Jude does not practise medicine. Everything Jude produces is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a professional recommendation, and it must never be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, GP, specialist, pharmacist, or other licensed professional in your country.
2. Always Confirm With a Professional
You must independently verify any information from Jude with a licensed medical professional before acting on it. Never disregard, delay, or discontinue professional medical advice because of something Jude has said. Decisions about your health, medication, and treatment remain solely yours and those of your treating professionals.
3. Medical Emergencies
Jude is not for emergencies and does not monitor you. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, stop using the Service and immediately contact your local emergency services or attend the nearest emergency department. This is the only part of this disclaimer that overrides everything else: your safety in an emergency comes first.
4. Assumption of Risk & Zero Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws applicable in your country, you use the Service entirely at your own risk, and judemed.ai, its owners, creators, developers, operators, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, data providers, and affiliates (together, the "Providers") assume no liability whatsoever and accept zero responsibility for any loss, injury, harm, damage, cost, or expense of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary — arising out of or in any way connected with:
- your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
- any reliance you place on any output, response, summary, report, or information produced by Jude;
- any error, omission, inaccuracy, outdated statement, or "hallucination" in Jude's output;
- any misuse, misunderstanding, misinterpretation, or misapplication of the Service or its output by you or anyone else;
- any action taken or not taken, or any treatment, medication, product, or protocol pursued or avoided, on the basis of Jude's output;
- any interruption, delay, security incident, data loss, or unavailability of the Service; and
- any third-party content, service, integration, device, or link accessed through the Service.
This limitation applies even if the Providers have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage, and even if a stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
5. No Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. No advice or information obtained from Jude creates any warranty not expressly stated here.
6. Your Responsibility & Indemnity
You are responsible for how you use the Service and for anything you do based on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold the Providers harmless from any claim, demand, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service or your breach of our Terms.
7. Local Law & Consumer Rights
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of your country, including any non-waivable consumer-protection or statutory rights you may have. Where any part of this disclaimer is found unenforceable in your jurisdiction, that part is limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder continues in full force. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those places, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.
8. Research Mode
Where Research Mode is available, its output is exploratory and hypothesis-generating only. It may reference emerging, off-label, fringe, or speculative concepts that are not established standard of care and must not be treated as clinical guidance.
9. Practitioner Content
Where a practitioner has configured custom instructions or reviews conversations, that practitioner — not the Providers — is responsible for the professional judgement they exercise. The Providers do not endorse and are not liable for any practitioner's methods, beliefs, or advice.
